Spring is the ideal time to explore the desert trails when the weather is starting to get a little warmer. The last remnants of snow at higher elevations are still evident but disappearing fast heralding the inevitable arrival of the summer season with its scorching heat. It’s a very pretty, colourful and perfumed time of year when the wildflowers are in bloom and the desert vegetation is rich and verdant. This is a collection of a few of the spring themed images taken recently from various trails around the local parks in the Las Vegas valley that illustrate the vernal beauty of the desert.
