Earlier in the summer we moved from Southern California to Southern Nevada, rolling into Henderson on one of the hottest days in what's turning out to be one of the hottest summers on record. I'm certainly looking forward to exploring my new environs when the weather cools a little as there are some tremendous parks and trails in the area (ignoring the fact that we're right next to Las Vegas). Anyway, if you get up early enough you can beat the oppressive heat (for a while at least), so here are a couple images of Las Vegas Strip's attractive skyline, taken at dawn on a clear morning.
